The aim of the study day:
In this in depth tour in the Biblical site of the City of David, we shall learn about some of the new discoveries and theories of recent years. We will discuss some of the topics concerning the history and archaeology of the city since the Middle Bronze age until the Hasmonean era.

Schedule:
9:00-10:00 - Meeting and introductory briefing at the ticket office at the entrance to the City of David
10:00-11:00 - Finds from the First Temple period and the Hasmonean period in the Givati excavations
11:00-12:00 - Excavations of the cultic site in Area U
12:00-13:00 - The Pool of Siloam: the new excavations
13:00-14:00 - The Pilgrimage Road
14:00-15:00 - The Givati Parking Lot excavations and the new moat
