In this in depth tour in the Biblical site of the City of David, we shall learn about some of the new discoveries and theories of recent years. We will discuss some of the topics concerning the history and archaeology of the city since the Middle Bronze age until the Hasmonean era.

The new robotic model (not yet accessible to the general public), the Hasmonean finds at the Givati parking lot excavation, the pilgrims road (depending on accessibility on day of tour), the "palace of David", area G, The new excavation at area U, the Warren Shaft and the fortress of the spring, the Canaanite tunnel 

Schedule:

9:00 - Meeting at the entrance to the City of David. The new robotic model (not yet accessible to the general public),

10:00-11:00 - The Hasmonean finds at the Givati parking lot excavation

11:00-12:00 - The pilgrims road (depending on accessibility on day of tour)

12:00-12:30 - Lunch break

12:30-13:00 - "The palace of David"

13:00-13:30 - Area G

13:30-14:30 - The new excavation at area U

14:30-16:00 - The Warren Shaft the fortress of the spring, the Canaanite tunnel
