I have a couple of questions... If i start the tg courses i would like to use my mother toungue in my work.
is here many positions for italians mother toungue?
and sorry if i ask you but i know in italy how it works but not here..so..moreor less how is the salary for the travel guides here in israel?

I was hopign you could help me. I would like to train as a professional tour guide in Israel and would like to know the difference between the Licensed Tour Guide and ITTE course please? Do they give the same qualification? Is one full time and one part time?
When to do they start and how long do they last for? I would need to be in Tel Aviv. I hope to hear from you shortly.

Shalom, I’m thinking about this program, but I have a question. It is more like study about Israel or is this program also about marketing and management of destinations, and things like this? I just finished university in Prague with core focus on management of tourism industry. So I would like to carry on.

ITTE is a program that closely modeled after the IST''s tour guide course for Israelis. It means that you will be studying about the many aspects of Israel, the land and its people: geography, Jewish history, archaeology, religions, flora and fauna, modern Israeli society and more.
The program will not focus specifically on management of tourism industry (like management of hotels)
Although as an expert of Israel you have the possibility to get into management positions, especially if you have some background in management. But the program specifically will not be about marketing or management in the tourism industry.

ITTE and regular tour guide course for Israelis are the only courses instructed in the English language.

Hi Isaac,

There are dozens of intensive one-day tours on ITTE program throughout the country including places like Jerusalem, Galilee, Negev, Tel- Aviv- Jaffa, Golan Heights and much more.
Also there are other trips that take 2-3 days like the trip to Eilat. Those are also great experiences.
